BM stairlifts worked with the occupational therapy team in the Royal Hospital Donnybrook to construct an “Activity Daily Living Suite” within the hospital. The aim of the suite is to  facilitate the assessment of patients’ environmental and equipment needs  in preparation for discharge from hospital.

Having the facility within the hospital makes it so much easier to assess patients needs and more importantly to do this at an early stage. It is a great idea and this was recognised by the Biomnis Healthcare Innovation awards 2011, in which the project was a finalist in the category of  “Innovation in Quality of Service Delivery”.

We were delighted to be involved and it is  great to see one of our stairlifts in this important patient facility.
